Lynn Harris
May 9, 2019

Our cool wet spring has meant the flowers are taking their time. I went out this afternoon to document the progress.

The color plan for this quilt came from a photo of a pink and orange shag rug in one of my vintage women’s magazines from the 1960s.
2 3/4” square. 100 pieces.

These pieces are small but are not “quick and easy.”

Pieced wit
What’s on your design wall? Mine design wall is filled with a mix of old and new. On the right are some blocks made by an unknown maker in 1937. On the left, some of my older tiny piecing. In the middle is my newest teeny tiny work.

Two finished, two in progress.

More fun making tiny things. 100 pieces in this that will finish at less than 3”.

The Singer featherweight does a beautiful job with tiny piecing.
