Teeny Tiny Quilt in Browns and Blues

I’ve been working on teeny tiny quilts for my upcoming solo show. Below is the set up I use for tiny piecing. I have a small area for cutting, pressing and sewing that I can reach while sitting to sew. The featherweight sewing machine gives really good results when working small.

This little cutie measures 2.5” square.

String portions were made to the size of my isosceles triangle ruler. Two of those were sewn together to made the diamonds. As usual, the string blocks were started and mostly made at a quilt retreat. Finished size 64” by 87”. #everyla
